Sensory Saturdays is a Cognitive Movement Program for children aged 5-12yrs.
Taught by a qualified counsellor and movement therapist to encourage whole-brain thinking through a movement and music integration strategy combining patterning, visual movement, auditory processing, rhythm and sequencing to create a "whole brain" approach to learning music and movement.
This program involves research-based movements to create this cognitive "remapping" of the brain. Our Sensory Saturdays program is used to improve behavioural, emotional and social skills, and encourage development in both fine and gross motor skills.
Our goal is to enrich the lives of children through the exploration of movement and dance concepts in a safe and structured environment. Our program is structured in a unique way to benefit the students according to their needs and parent participation is welcomed.
