Acrobatics focuses on strength, tumbling, flexibility, balance and contortion as the core elements of the style.
While acrobatics shares similarities with gymnastics floor work, it is taught without the use of a sprung floor, meaning students learn specific techniques suited to this type of training.
In our beginner acrobatics classes, students learn foundational skills such as cartwheels, headstands, bend backs and front walkovers.
As they progress, higher level classes introduce more advanced skills including aerials, backflips and balance combinations, all taught in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.
*All dancers must take a minimum of 45 minutes a week (except Mum & Me), if you choose a 30 minute class please choose another one of either the same or different style*
*Unless specified - classes are classified by "School Year" not age*
*All dancers who participate in an hour long Acrobatics class must also take either a Jazz, Lyrical or Ballet class to learn technique*
